Scout is truly so, very patient. This video will attest to that! And, he has been so, so sick! Last week we had an emergency visit from the vet at 10:30pm on a Tuesday. Poor Scout had been a little bit lame over the weekend but it wasn't getting better. To top it off, he had suddenly lost his appetite and was feverish. Turns out, he had colic and has foundered again. Founder is a breakdown in part of the hoof structure, normally as a result of stress on the body. He's doing much better now and will see the vet again this week for a follow up. We hope he'll be up to pony rides again soon! Dr. Beam has permanently restricted his diet to grass hay only, no grain and no fresh grass. Sounds boring, but if it'll keep him from getting sick again, we'll do it. This video was taken on Saturday, a few days before the late vet call.

Yep, regular camera. And tonight I used it to video Abby's dance dress rehearsal, but she was behind another kid so I'm going to try for a better angle on Saturday. I LOVE my camera!
I seriously love Hannah Kay Bridges!! She is so darn cute and so darn funny!!! Looks like scout is a perfect fit. Glad he's doing better and you all are enjoying him:0)
