We've had Earl about two months now, and he's almost 16 weeks old. The little guy isn't so little anymore as he's pushing 30 pounds, and more hungry every day.
Last week, he received his last shots/boosters for the year. His next big vet appointment will be when he's neutered. (Mama K is looking forward to that so he'll cut down on the humping of his bed, etc.)
Earl continues to be among the most popular residents in our neighborhood, as the three kids who live nearby are always overjoyed to see him, and as the next-door-neighbor 3-year old twins say, "pat his big fat belly."
He always sprints to the nearest neighbor outside, obviously expecting that he'll get his ears rubbed. When neighbors drive into their parking spots, he patiently waits at the end of their bumper, wagging his tail, until they park and come see him. He also loves chasing squirrels, eating sticks and leaves, and sniffing around the dumpsters. The only trouble is after a rain, or in the early morning, his belly and ears and wet from the grass and mud.
Easy E has improved his house training, and cues to us to take him outside. But we're still working at it.
At Bruce and Carole's, he wanted so bad to see the neighbors that when I wouldn't let him, he just collapsed in the driveway and wimpered.
Pine cones are among his favorite chew toys.
He loves climbing on things higher than he is, then wonders how to get down.
Hanging, and licking, in the Lazy Boy.

Best grand-pup ever and looks like the proud parents have potential for quite a baby album!!
Well the weekend is over and I've forgotten to show these to the girls. Oh well, everyone needs something to look forward to on a Monday evening!
He is so funny! I love his complete relaxation during naps and the way he gets his point across with wanting to visit neighbors. He's a great addition to the K & K household!
Loved the pictures, Laura! What a cute little dog who obviously lives a rough life!
Earl is a pearl, for sure! What a ham!! He looks directly into the camera!!!
I love our "little" grandpup!!!!
