A few weeks ago, we decided to spruce up the patio, and add some flowers and vegetables to accent the decor.
Earl has made a dent in the mulch, between chewing (and eating), digging and pooping. He can't always be left out there unsupervised. So we got a few bags of mulch and tried to make it look a little more presentable.
Finally, we took another stab at a tomato plant. Last summer proved to be too hot to produce hardly anything. Apparently, it didn't get cool enough at night for tomato plants. But we've got this baby in direct sunlight, and hopefully Earl and bugs will leave it alone.

Gorgeous! Very tastefully done. I expect to see a picture of a tomato on a plate about to be eaten in a few months!
