Funny moments with the girls

A few funny moments from the past few days...

Abby got new shoes on Saturday, with help from my dear friend Megan. Megs has helped us with shoe shopping on multiple occasions so Abigail must really see her as an expert in that department. The chosen pair (for church) is brown and glittery. There are no laces, only a velcro strap, so she can put them on herself. Upon trying on the shoes, Abigail declared them "sparkly" and "fancy dancy!" Oh my! She has worn them everyday since Saturday and at the conclusion of the childrens' sermon at church, raised her foot up to Pastor Sandi for approval. Sometimes we don't know whether to laugh or crawl under the pew!

Hannah's baby babble is showing a little more purpose lately. She very clearly says "Da Da" when Andy is around and often answers "Ya" to our questions. We really don't think that she knows what "Ya" means but she says it so loudly and clearly and it is really funny!

Tall and skinny Abbs often has trouble keeping her pants up. Obviously she didn't inherit that trait from me! Adjustable waistbands work pretty well but leggings are best. So, Mom keeps an eye out for leggings and just last week brought a new pair. They are cute, brown with little pink flowers on them. So, as Abby was putting them on this morning she said "Oh, I like these, they have flowers in the mud!" Apparently the brown background is mud, too funny!

And finally, I wish all of you could witness bath time at our house. It is so much fun and all four of us laugh a lot! Hannah has learned how to be chased, so as she's crawling to the bathroom we chase her and she looks back over her shoulder and giggles like crazy. Then, as I pick her up to put her in the tub she gets so excited that her legs are kicking all over the place. Abigail puts bubbles on her, gives her toys, splashes and really enjoys taking a bath with her little buddy.

Please tell Hannah Kay Cupcake to be working on those "P" sounds as in "Polk" and "Pops". Can't wait to see Abbs new shoes.

Looks like Abby is a true woman, she has a shoe fetish. And what a coincidence, adjustable waistbands work well for me too.
About bath time, you really should look into selling admission to that thing, you know, with this slumping economy and all. I'd be happy to be the promoter.

Looks like Abigail has inherited Uncle Bonnet's penchant for adjectives! And I hope you're enjoying the "Ya" response from Hannah as much as possible before the "NO!" starts!
