Tailgate shower

The much-anticipated Tailgate Shower took place yesterday at Ansley's house. We hung out with Ansley, Tate and Patrick, Johnie and Laura, Jim and Julie, Dawn and Paul (and Charlie), John and Kat (and Maya), Julie and Derek, Mike and Molly, Kim and Nick, and Berkeley and Leia. There were all the staples you need at a good tailgate: Buffalo chicken dip, onion dip, veggies and ranch dressing, a fruit tray, burgers and brats, and beer and wine.

Most everybody lives in Athens, but some are Camp Mikell friends who live around Atlanta (Kim and Nick, Mike and Molly).

Here are the gifts we received:

-Chips and dip platter

-Bed, Bath and Beyond gift card

-UGA platter and bowl

We had yard games in the backyard and college football on TV inside. Needless to say, it was really fun. But honestly, these are among the funniest people I've met, in Athens or otherwise.
