The Mighty Athletics Take the Field!

T-ball season is here! Abigail is playing on a co-ed team of five and six year olds at Scott Park in Franklin. She is having fun and learning much more than she ever thought possible. Such as, which direction to run to get to first base, and to step and throw! Andy and I don't remember not knowing how to play softball and baseball and it has been a hoot to watch!

We've had three games now and the kids are having a ball and learning sound fundamentals.

Here, Coach Cruser gives the team a pep talk.

And, she made it to first base! There are no outs, by the way. And we don't keep score. The entire game is two innings and it takes every bit of an hour. The entire team bats through the order in each inning.
