Uncle Bucket interviews an astronaut

On Saturday, I stepped out of the sportswriting scene and wrote about an astronaut who visited Gwinnett County's airport, Briscoe Field. Col. Eric Boe was aboard the final flight in February of Space Shuttle Discovery. He visited a local aviation chapter for a pancake breakfast yesterday morning. He's an Atlanta native and has a master's degree from Georgia Tech.

Here's Boe's NASA bio.

That is so neat! Your article was really good. Since I am often on "Mars," let me know when you hear about regular folks going into space! I'm sure Benjamin will be interested. :)

Cool! I think your feature/human interest stories are easily as good as your sports stories.
