Whirlwind!

It was a short visit, Monday afternoon to Thursday morning, but we made the most of it!

Hugs, giggles, beautiful weather with lots and lots of sunshine.

We moved carseats back and forth, from van to truck and truck to van. Everyone wanted to ride in Uncle Keith's new truck as much as possible!

The girls modeled dance outfits:

Or, totally mismatched clothes (we'll give Abbs a break, she was sick all week).

We checked on the garden and named each plant. Tomatoes still seem to be a ways off, but the corn and potatoes look wonderful!

And when bad news came for Pops, the adults among us were very thankful to have the extra moral support. Hannah stepped up her game and gave Pops some extra hugs. Today she even took her nap with him.

I chopped, tossed, mashed and sauteed and Andy grilled, and we enjoyed every bite. We thoroughly enjoy cooking for a crowd!

It was like a three night dinner party! Abigail helped some with meal prep, Aunt Kristi helped a whole lot with entertaining girls and Uncle Keith talked with Pops and Andy. Something tells me that conversation out there by the grill was flowing right along with the Blue Moons!

Outdoor gymnastics demonstrations for Aunt Kristi, who can do a mean cartwheel and handstand, herself!

To finish off one evening, we watched Keith and Kristi's wedding video. That was so much fun that the next night we watched Andy's and mine. Fun!

And we took a (partial) family picture, which it was way too dark for. But, I couldn't resist. What a fun visit! And, Lung Cancer? If Pops can fight as hard as my kids have fought bedtime tonight...you don't stand a chance! (Apparently the charm of good bedtimes left with K&K)
