Ya Mon!

This week, Andy and I had the huge blessing of taking a trip to Jamaica! We were honored to participate in a destination wedding for a couple from our church at Breeze's Resort. We had such a fabulous time and were again in awe of God's goodess to us!

We arrived on Monday afternoon and enjoyed relaxing and eating delicious food. The temperature was in the low 80s and humid (similar to here!), but there was a constant breeze which made it comfortable. On Tuesday, we also spent time on the beach (adding the inevitable Farner sunburn!), then prepared for the wedding that afternoon. We enjoyed a special dinner at the resort's Italian restaurant with the bride & groom and their families that evening. It was very entertaining to listen to their reminisences from the growing up years and when they first got to know each other! Wednesday was our last day, so we decided to venture off the resort for a glass bottom boat ride and some sightseeing in the afternoon. I thought Ruthie might be impressed that we actually climbed Dunn's River Falls! The beauty of God's creation was so evident to us.

And of course, our arrival home late last night, though a bit of a let down, was made sweet by greeting our kids this morning. They had a blast hanging out with Andy's parents and enjoyed trips to the Memphis Zoo and the square in Oxford. Clara had her first T-ball practices and Benji continues to add new words to his growing vocabulary! (Including, "No, Mon!" and "Bye, Mon!")
