Another summer, another road trip for the K and K duo.
What was originally planned as a Fourth of July trip to Pittsburgh, was extended to a trip through Nashville and central Indiana in pursuit of a muffler for the new truck. We stopped to see the Germek/Rosenthal clan, Kristi's aunt, uncle, cousins and (eight) second cousins. Then we ventured up to Indiana after a stop in Bowling Green to see Wes.
(Whose GPS doesn't take them to Pittsburgh through Tennessee, Indiana and Ohio?)
It was a lot of fun playing with Abby and Hannah, drinking beer(s) with Andy and Pops, playing golf with Pops and watching various wedding videos. I hear there was also a fun shopping trip to the outlets. I also chipped in on a concrete project with the Bridges Construction and Landscaping business.
The Pittsburgh visit consisted of several projects around 93-year-old Granny Franny's house, a concert with Rob and Jessica, and a Pirates game with Kristi's cousin Chrissy.
Finally, a 12 1/2 hour trek back to the Classic City where we had several conversations with Bruce and Carole, who were traveling back from New York. At one point, we were only a half an hour apart.

I love the across-the-street perspective of Dobbie's house! The girls treasured every minute of your visit, I'm so glad you all were able to stop in IN!
Great re-cap of the K&K trip. It's always interesting how many food pics show up in your entries. The omelets did look delicious. Glad you had a good trip but thankful you are home safe and sound!!
