Summer has gone by so fast! It is actually only two months long now, instead of three ("vacation time," that is.) This week, all the schools in Charleston are opening, so even though the high temperatures almost everyday will be 100 degrees, the next "season" is beginning! This is my catch-all post (pictures in no particular order) to show you what we've been up to this summer...

The kids attended VBS and I taught the 5th & 6th grade class.
The theme was "Summer Seaquest" using the book of Jonah.
Each day began with an actor giving a skit of the day's lesson.

Summertime doesn't get much more well-rounded, unless you mix in something about the humidity levels, or sunblock.
I loved the pictures. Looks like everyone had a great time. It was nice to see Clara's finished purse! Nice job, Clara! I'm really surprised Uncle Keith didn't say something about domestic skills since he always reminds me of that summer at 7818.
Isn't summer just the best? B & C are both getting so tall! The pictures are great!
