Rosebush

It's been a month and a half since our little kitten, Rosebush, came to live with us. So, it's high time for an update about her! After about a week of hiding from us in the bathroom (where her food, water & litter box were), she gradually made appearances and began to tolerate us. Clara was her first friend here and still is her best friend. Clara has come up with all kinds of toys for her--below she's using the classic piece of yarn--but Rosebush also likes broken harp strings, balls of aluminum foil, princess wands, hair ribbons, a small "troll" doll with long hair and, of course, her own tail. She has also recently discovered her own shadow, which gives the wall a bit of a beating! The kids have both loved figuring her out & learning her favorite places to sleep (Clara's bed and under Andy's dresser). Like a typical cat, she naps a lot during the day (usually out of sight) and gets wound up in the evening. So, when we're reading bedtime stories, we get to see some lively entertainment.

Add Rosebush to the long list of Farner felines. What are the chances Kenny, Biscuits, Gravy, Rosebush meet someday? And what's the latest with Silly? Is she still hanging around?

She looks so sweet! And about the same size/age as Biscuits and Gravy. Kenny would probably be perturbed by all the kittens' activity.
